About the ground

Commissioned in 1988 and named after Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, the stadium at Kuto, Abeokuta, holds about 10,000 spectators. It has hosted the CAF Women's African Nations Cup finals and was upgraded with a new track and a re-grassed pitch for the 2024 National Sports Festival. It is the home ground of Gaiters Football Club.
