Call it the final four, the last men standing, or the best from the rest, and every tag will be just about right. The semi-finals of the TCC Cup takes center-stage this weekend as four teams continue the race for glory.

Gbagada secured the first semi-final ticket after dismissing Real Sapphire 2-0, an impressive feat for a side that waited until MatchDay 4 for its first cup victory this season. A sixth consecutive semi-final appearance for the Blue Eagles is great. But they’ll be aiming for the stars: a first TCC Cup since winning it in 2021.

In their way is a familiar foe, Atlantic Business. Both sides met earlier in the group phase, with the game ending in a 2-2 draw. The Business Team finished with the same points tally as Gbagada (8) before knocking out VOE FA in the quarter-finals.

In the other semi-final, Imperial face Dino SC. It’s a third meeting between both sides this season across all competitions, with Dino coming out on top both times. Their clash on the 15th of October was the most memorable, with Dino coming from behind to secure a 2-1 victory, scoring the winning goal in the second minute of stoppage time.
