All is now set for the TCC Cup final as Beyond Limits lock horns with Sporting Lagos.

Both sides enter this final after a long journey, featuring twists and turns.

For Sporting Lagos, it’s a maiden TCC Cup final appearance. Coach Shola’s boys enter this game with confidence after keeping clean sheets in all their knock-out games. In the quarter-final, they defeated Valiant 1-0, before ousting Real Sapphire on penalties.

Beyond Limits, on the other hand, come into the game aiming to become the first team to do the double. Fresh off conquering the league, Coach Olumide’s boys will now seek to vanquish the last-standing opponent in the cup.

Their clean sheets have disappeared since the group stages, as they’ve conceded in their last four cup games. Like Sporting Lagos, they also needed penalties to fend off Gbagada’s challenge in the semi-final, with the game ending 2-2 in normal time.

This will be the third meeting between both sides this season. Each (league) meeting produced five goals apiece.
