It was a keenly contested affair between the two Lagos based sides in the cup on Tuesday.

Despite a foray of chances that came in the game, there was no winner as both teams took a giant step towards qualifying for the second round.

Sporting Lagos 3-0 Atlantic Business

Sporting Lagos secured their first-ever win in the TCC Cup with a comfortable 3-0 win over Atlantic Business at the Legacy Pitch on Tuesday.

Goals from Salvador Dimeji, Taro Godswill and Saturday Okon ensured the win, as ATL continued to search for their first goal in the Cup this season.

Another fantastic performance from the forward to lead his side to a maiden win.


Dannaz 2-1 Broad City

In-form Dannaz came from a goal down to beat Broad City 2-1 in dramatic fashion at the Legacy Pitch on Wednesday.

BRC had gone in front through Adamu Ibrahim in the 34th minute, but a late turnaround in the second half, gave Dannaz their first win in the Cup this term. 

Precious Emmanuel and Onoja Mathew scored in the final quarter of the game to complete the comeback.

The forward scored a late winner to keep their hopes of reaching the final eight alive.


Imperial 0-3 Dino 

Dino put up a fine performance to beat Imperial 3-0 in Ikenne.

Dino, whose Cup form has been better this term, went into the break with a 1-0 lead courtesy Daniel Effiong. When Imperial pushed for an equalizer, Hassan Agbede scored a brace in the final 20 minutes to put the game beyond them.
