Iganmu Tiger 2-1 Broad City

The Tigers began their TCC Cup campaign with a win against fellow Lagos-based side Broad City on Wednesday. They went into the lead through talisman Kola Mohammed before Sanusi Hanif restored parity at the 40th mark.
The hosts went back into the lead on the hour mark through Onilude Wariz’s strike and they did enough to see out the win.
Man of the Match
Remilekun Kabiru (Iganmu Tiger)
The right-back was highly involved in his side’s play and made an impact at both ends of the pitch.
Sporting Lagos 0-1 Valiant

Sporting Lagos’ debut in the TCC Cup did not go according to plan as they suffered a surprising defeat to Valiant. Sporting had earlier thrashed Valiant some weeks ago in the league and many expected them to nick a win. However, Valiant were not ready for any of that.
Olaniyan Gafar popped up to hand his side the lead in the 65th minute. Sporting created tons of chances but Valiant goalkeeper Saheed Hammed was up to the task to deny them. In the end, the Brave Boys walked away with their first win of the season.

It was a valiant performance from the goalkeeper. He made a series of saves to keep his side in the game and was on hand to ensure they took all three points.
Imperial 2-1 Dannaz

Imperial continued their brilliant start to the season with a hard-fought win over Danna’s in Ikenne on Wednesday. The home side found it difficult a bit but still managed to go ahead in the dying embers of the first half through Emmanuel Orji.
Fatai Akande’s side found their response early in the second half through Aderibigbe Paul in the 48th minute. With the game seemingly locked and looking like a draw, Olatunji Abdulmaleek fired home to secure a late winner for Adedeji Ayeoba’s side.

Beyond Limits 3-0 Gbagada

Beyond Limits put up a fantastic performance by putting three past Gbagada FC in this week’s final game. Having made a poor start to the league campaign, BYL came out strongly to deliver a classic against a difficult opponent and former champions of the competition.
In the opening quarter, Sunday Gift handed the home side the lead – a reward for their dominance all afternoon. After the break, Adekunle Biliamin turned the ball into his own net to help the Sky Blue Stars increase their lead. It could have been three moments later but Popoola Samad missed from the spot, but Gift made sure it happened when he finished off a cross by Onyebuchi Obasi.

Sunday Gift (Beyond Limits)
Gift was superb in the game and deservedly took home the MOTM. A clinical display from the winger.
