Defending Champions beaten blue black by Dannaz

Dannaz began the month of December with a comprehensive TCC League victory over Beyond Limits.

Unbeaten in their last four – with three wins to their name – Dannaz came into the fixture worthy competitors. However, they were up against a Beyond Limits side that had won four on the bounce.

Undeterred by the record of their opponents, Dannaz started the game with high intensity, and got the games’ first goal in the first minute, through Obakimi Joshua. Before Beyond Limits could settle down to catch their breath, one quickly became two goals as Obakimi doubled his tally in the game.

Beyond Limits’ Onyebuchi Obasi tried to pull one back for his side with a long tange effort in the 35th minute. But it was comfortably saved by goalkeeper Kasali Ganiu.

The first half fizzled out for the second, which started with Kasali Ganiu stepping up to save efforts from Kparobo and Onyebuchi in the 51st minute. As the half wore on, Beyond Limits grew in confidence and looked likely to at least get one goal back.

It was Dannaz who got their third goal instead as Ampofo Joshua found the back of the net in the 72nd minute. They added a fourth six minutes later to hand Beyond Limits their largest defeat of the 2022/2023 TCC League season.
