Valiant FC recorded their second win in nine games by defeating Dannaz in their MatchWeek 9 encounter.
Needing to leave the rock-bottom area of the table, the Valiant Boys of Lagos started the game on the front foot, creating a number of goal-scoring chances. All of the early pressure in the game paid off in the 29th minute when Saoban Tanimola put the away side ahead.
The home side, shaken by Valiant’s early lead, would try to shake things up by creating a handful of chances. The half would remain with the same scoreline as the referee blew for half-time.
The second half started with Valiant protecting their lead as Dannaz pushed for an equalizer. Abiodun Adebayo and Daniel Seidu were on hand to thwart the advances of the homeside as they continued to protect the lead.
Valiant would also make advances of their own as they sought to make one two. However, the scoreline remained the same as Valiant claimed their second win of the season, jumping to seventh on the table.
