Beyond Limits Hit Seven Past Emmydinho

It was a perfect performance for Beyond Limits as they smashed seven past Emmydinho on Sunday Evening.

The defending champions came into the fixture on the back of a goalless draw at Broad City on Wednesday, while the visitors suffered a home loss at the hands of Dannaz in their last game.

With things getting tight at the top of the log, getting a win in a game like this became important for the Ikenne side. After a bit of resistance from the visitors, the home side hit top gear in the final 15 minutes of the half as they scored two goals within the timeframe. Ahmed Lanre got the first at the half-hour mark before returning forward Morufdeen Moshood made it two eight minutes later.

After the two goal cushion at the break, the junior sky blue stars came out fighting more as Moshood made it 3-0 in the 49th minute. As if the goals were not enough, Lanre completed his brace at the hour mark to make it 5-0.

The visitors had no answers to everything the home side threw at them in the game and there was time for Moshood to complete his hat-trick before Ridwan Mogaji took his place. Midfielder Ayomide Ogungbe and substitute Ridwan scored the remaining goals as Beyond Limits recorded the buggest win of the season.
