Valiant’s poor start to the Creative Championship League continued on match week seven as they suffered their sixth defeat of the 2022/23 season at the hands of Iganmu Tiger on Saturday.
The Tigers have stepped up their performances this season and that has seen them stay within reach of other top sides in the league this term. Meanwhile, it has been a free fall on the part of the Brave boys, who are still looking for their first win of the season.
After a goalless first half that had few chances, it was in the second half that the home side got their acts together and fired three past the visitors to claim their third win of the season. Just two minutes after the break, Bamidele Adeleke gave the home side the lead before completing his brace with a composed finish seven minutes later.
It was already set and match then, but there was still time for Adeola David to grab a goal of his own in the 87th minute and complete the rout for coach Alade Kabiru’s side.

The forward took both of his goals well to set the tone for the win. Another influential display from the lad.
