Dannaz bounced back from their heavy defeat to Imperial with a 1-0 win over Broad City.
The Cedars, went into the clash against Broad City with the hopes of a second home win of the season.
The first half of the game featured a few chances, which both sides failed to capitalize upon. The goalkeepers did not have much work to do with both sides failing to make anything out of the half.
The second half saw changes made by both managers. However the score-line remained the same.
With the game heading for the finish line without a clear winner, Dannaz’s Olori Idris stepped up to the plate and scored the winner.
After a cross whipped into the Broad City 18-yard area, the goalkeeper was on hand to punch the ball out of the danger area. His poor clearance would fall to Olori, who chested the ball, for control, before slotting home from the penalty spot.
The win sees Dannaz climb up to sixth, with Broad City dropping to bottom of the log.
