Imperial Dispatch Dannaz In Routine Win

Imperial FC continued their brilliant start to the campaign as they thrashed Dannaz 3-0 on Wednesday.

In what has been a brilliant season for them, the side went a step further by recording their fourth win of the TCC League.

It was quite cagey early on as goals were missing despite the numerous amount of chances created by both sides. However, two goals in the final ten minutes of the first half changed the game on its head.

Impressive wing-back Idase Melody scored first in the 35th minute before Abdullahi Bilyaminu increased the tally in the 42nd minute. Both goals came at a crucial time for the hosts, while the visitors were hit badly.

Upon the resumption of hostilities, much didn’t come from the visitors as the home side’s defence stood strong to thwart their attacks.

In the 82nd minute, Salau Yusuf scored to wrap up the win for Adedeji Ayeoba’s side leaving the Cedars still in the bottom zone of the league.
