Iganmu Struggle Again as Beyond Limits Return to the top

The downward spiral continued for Iganmu as they lost yet again, this time to Beyond Limits.

Both sides needed a win in this one for different reasons. For the home side, they needed to get away from the bottom of the table. For the visiting side, their place at the top of the table was at stake.

From the blast of the whistle, it was clear who wanted it more as the home side struggled with the neat interchange of play between the Beyond Limits side. It didn’t take long for all of that hard work to pay off as Faruq Ogundare was on hand to put Coach Olumide’s side in the lead.

The remainder of the half featured both sides throwing away chance after chance.

In the second half, the Iganmu Lions tried to stage a comeback to at least steal a point from their visitors. However, the Remo-based side remained sturdy in their defense. Although they were guilty of throwing away a handful of goal scoring chances, they were the better side in the evening.

The win returns Beyond Limits to the top of the table as the lions languish dangerously at the bottom of the log.
