Dino Win Seven-Goal Thriller as Winning Run Continues

The Landlords of the Lions’ Den continued their winning run with a hard-fought win over Emmydinho.

Having scored seven times in their last three games, recording wins in all of them, they visited Emmydinho, with a fourth win in a row in their sights.

Coach Gibson’s side started on the right foot, scoring as early as the third minute, with Hassan Agbede finding the back of the net. Emmydinho’s reply was swift, with Christopher Amaechi scoring for Emmydinho in the ninth minute.

Ten minutes later, Emmydinho went in front, with Chibuzor Friday adding to his tally for the season. Both sides failed to add more goals in the first half, despite the many chances created during the time. The first 15 minutes of the second half played out like the last 15 of the first: no goals, despite several chances.

The pace of the game would however pick up in the 61st minute when Prince Ayimaemi drew Dino SC level with his goal. Two quickly became three for Coach Gibson’s side as Elijah Adekunle was on hand to slot home. Not willing to give up so easily, Emmydinho caught up again with Dino, after Oparaocha Chidera scored yet another goal for Emmydinho.

Segun Egbewole would have the final say in the game as his 77th minute goal proved to be the difference between the two sides. Dino have now scored 11 goals in their last four TCC League games, climbing up to third on the log.
