Beyond Limits were at their best once again, as they defeated Dino SC 3-1 at the Remo Stars stadium in Ikenne.
The defending champions, who have not had the best of starts this season, have finally found their groove after a win at Gbagada during the week. Just like the hosts, Dino have been poor this season and came into this fixture on the back of a loss to Sporting at home.
BYL have always started games on the front foot and that they did again on Sunday with Musa Abdullahi scoring twice in four minutes to hand them a two-goal cushion. Before Dino could regroup again, the junior sky blue stars made it 3-0 in a ten minute scoring spree through Shola Ogundana.
Olumide Ajibolade’s boys kept pushing and should have been home and dry before halftime. Dino barely left gear one in the first half and made it easier for the home side to exploit them in full scale.
Midfielder Blessing Essien pulled one back for Dino from the spot to help Dino continue their run of scoring in TCC games this season.
After that Dino goal, the home side were presented with an opportunity to get a fourth goal from the spot. Ayomide Ogungbe was charged with the responsibility to take the penalty but he blasted his effort well over the bar.
The game was already done and set at the time and BYL made it two wins on the bounce to go joint top with Sporting. Meanwhile, Dino dropped to second from bottom.

The midfielder grabbed two goals in the game to set the tone for the win. An excellent display from the anchorman.
