Dino Claim Comeback Win Over Broad City

Dino SC scored three second half goals to secure yet another win as they beat Broad City 3-1 in the TCC League in Ijebu Ode on Saturday.

Dino, being one of the most inform sides in the league at the moment, started poorly in this game as the visitors went ahead to score the opening goal.

Star forward Victor Yunana continued his impressive run in front of goal to hand his side the lead in the 35th minute. The hosts couldn’t find a response as the game went for the HT break.

After the interval, coach Godwin Gibson introduced Ikechukwu Friday in place of the misfiring Elijah Adekunle in search of goals upfront. 

Sooner than later, Broad City left-back Oluwayemi Omoniyi received his marching orders and that dismissal opened up spaces for the hosts to exploit in the final 20mins of the game.

Meanwhile, that earlier tactical move by coach Godwin paid off as Ikechukwu restored parity for the home side in the 71st minute and five minutes later an unfortunate own-goal from the visitors handed the hosts the lead for the first time in the game.

Ten minutes after getting the equaliser, Ikechukwu made the points safe by completing his brace much to the delight of the bench and his gaffer.

With the comeback done and dusted, the Lions just see out the win to make it three consecutive wins on the bounce.
