Broad City too strong for Atlantic Business

Atlantic Business’ free fall continued on match week 5 of the TCC League as they lost 2-0 to Broad City in Lagos.

ATL were the early league leaders after two games earlier in the season, but they have failed to win any game since then and have lost momentum.

On the other hand, Broad City continued to rely on home form for success this term – winning all their previous two games – before coming into this fixture.

With the task at hand, Broad City inflicted the first blow when striker Jeremiah Christopher scored the game’s opening goal midway through the first half. 

As if that was not enough, about ten minutes later, BRC doubled their lead. Star defender Solomon Agbalaka scored his second goal in two games.

From thereon, BRC just kept controlling the game, while Adiro Olayinka’s men were looking for a way back into the game.

However, it was not meant to be as Broad City held on for another win at home, while ATL remained winless in their past three TCC League games.
