Dino SC vs Ijebu United

Dino climbed to third place in The Creative Championships after they secured their second win against Ijebu United in the Ogun Derby.

The hosts were quickly at the races, looking to erase memories of defeat in Lagos at the hands of Iganmu, while Ijebu United came off the back of a comeback against table topping Valiant. In a game defined by fine margins, it was Dino who would seize their chance as Friday I. netted the only goal in the thirty-fifth minute to send home fans into raptures.

Ijebu United would quickly look to respond, but they’d be unable to get in behind a stout backline put up by the hosts. 

The same story would repeat itself in the second half, with the cagey affair ultimately ending with both sides ultimately fighting for bragging rights to the colour of Ijebu till the return leg. Chidera Chukwuemeka would ensure that colour was Red and Black, as he continually torched the visitors, who would look to bounce back to winning ways on Matchday 5.
