Valiant, who were in need of a win to make it out of the group, suffered a disappointing 3-1 loss to Dannaz at the Remo Stars Stadium on Friday.
Before this encounter, Valiant sit one point behind table toppers Beyond Limits who were also facing Dino SC simultaneously, as the battle for the two slots went to the final match day in group B.
Just before the half hour mark, Joshua Obakimi gave the hosts the opening and made it two nil four minutes before the break from the spot.
Valiant were playing like a team without motivation, while the Cedars, who started the day as the group’s bottom side, played with much swagger and confidence.
Three minutes after the hour mark, Savio Idezi increased the tally for Fatai Akande’s men to put the result beyond any reasonable doubt.
In-form forward Ifeoluwa Agboola grabbed his fifth cup goal in three games for Valiant to offer some consolation to his side as they missed out on the final four spot.
Consequently, Dannaz claimed a first TCC Cup win and moved off the bottom spot as the group stage came to an end.
