Valiant Remain Winless After Latest Defeat

Valiant FC continued their poor start to the TCC League season as they suffered a 3-2 defeat at Broad City on Wednesday.

In the keenly contested affair at the Legacy Pitch, both sides gave it their all under the hot scorching sun in search of superiority. It was the visitors who went in front first through Ifeoluwa Agboola from the spot in the 30th minute.

That lead only lasted four minutes as the home side rallied back to level through Solomon Agbalaka. Both sides continued their duel until HT without any further goals in the game.

Before the second half resumed, the Brave Boys introduced Gafar Olaniyan into the game. But it was the hosts who would get their second adn third goals in a matter of minutes. Substitute Titus Bulus scored first before Joseph Mario added his own about ten minutes later.

Gafar managed to pull one back for coach Owolabi Mustapha’s men in the 84th minute but the deed had been done as the home side returned to winning ways.
