Dino SC bounced back to winning ways over the weekend as they defeated their hosts, Atlantic Business.
Fresh off back-to-back losses to Iganmu and Dannaz, Coach Godwin Gibson needed a response from his boys. And respond they did.
The fixture started with both sides being ambitious enough to go forward but also cautious to not let anything slip past their defences. The breakthrough would however come in the 20th minute when Isaac Ashiekaa put one past Omah Ebube in goal.
It was Dino’s first goal in over 110 minutes of play. Isaac’s goal was also good enough to ease the nerves of the visitors who were a bit on the edge when they came in. Try as they could, Atlantic Business, on the other hand, could not break through the Dino defence.
The second half started with Dino SC making a substitution, bringing on Hyacinth Ogonna up front. He made his presence felt instantly as he second Dino’s second of the day, stretching their lead in the match.
No strangers to scoring second half goals this season, Atlantic Business tried to get a goal back for themselves. All their efforts proved impossible as they fell to their first home loss of the season.

MAN OF THE MATCH
Blessing Essien (Dino SC)
He lived up to his name, with his presence in the middle of the park serving as a blessing to his team-mates. When he was not making key interceptions, he was finding the men up front with key passes.
