Beyond Limits and Sporting Lagos settled for a 1-1 draw in their clash at the Remo Stars stadium on Sunday.
It was one of the games lined up for match week three in the Creative Championship and was indeed a spectacle.
Defending champions Beyond Limits were humbled by Atlantic Business in their last game and were hoping to return to winning ways against the debutants.
The game got off to the best possible way for the visitors as they got the first goal of the game through Godspower Akekoromowei in the 10th minute. That lead only lasted three minutes – Farouq Ogundare scored from the penalty spot.
Chances upon chances to see a third goal in the game were missed and the goalkeepers did well when called upon. Despite the rain, the teams still tried to enjoy their game and build up multiple attacks.
BYL’s Onyebuuchi Obasi was the biggest culprit when he was put through on goal and found himself in a 1-v-1 position with the goalkeeper. He rounded off the keeper only to balloon his effort over with the goal at his mercy.
Coach Olumide Ajibolade and his counterpart Olusanjo Olutayo made changes in the second half in order to alter the status of the game.
Despite the dominance they enjoyed in the second half, BYL could not find the winner with the likes of Obasi and Kparobo Arierhi missing big chances.
It finished 1-1 in Ikenne, leaving the home side without a win in their past two TCC games, while Sporting Lagos made it two games without a loss.

MAN OF THE MATCH
Onyebuchi Obasi (Beyond Limits)
The winger had a fine game once more. He was heavily involved upfront and should have had a goal of his own.
