Atlantic Business recorded their first win of the TCC League season with a 3-1 win over Broad City.

Having started their campaign with a slim defeat at the hands of Gbagada, it’s back to business for ABFC as they picked up their first set of three points for the season. The clash between the league newcomers saw the host entertain Broad City.

Having scored three in their first game, Broad City started the game on the front foot, creating chances. The home side were also equal to the task in a lively start to the game. Four minutes to the first half ending in a goalless draw, Mark Ipoola scored an own goal to put the visitors in front.

Desperate to not leave empty-handed, Atlantic Business started the second half with a few changes. The substitutions paid off in the 68th minute when Sheriff, who had come on for Debo Awolola was on hand to poke home from close range.

Smelling blood, the hosts went for the kill and it didn’t take long to get their second goal. Chisom was on hand to hit a fierce shot that found its way past Usman Ahmed of Broad City. Not satisfied with two, the players stringed together a couple of passes on their way past the Broad City defense, releasing Chisom who found Sheriff with a pass for his second, Atlantic Business’ third on the day.
