Iganmu’s losing run gets worse as they suffer yet another loss to Gbagada.
Both sides came into this game desperate for a win as the season drew to a close.
After a calm start in the first 10 minutes, the Blue Eagles showed their first intent with a shot that went wide of the mark in the 12th minute. The game would go quiet again till Coach Akinyelu’s side went on the attack, this time in the 32nd minute, with Rilwan Gbadamosi’s shot being deflected for a corner.
The hosts would go on to get their first goal of the game from the resulting corner as Kareem Hassan rose the highest to nod the ball home from close range.
Not satisfied with one goal, Gbagada got a second just two minutes later through Ademola Akibu. Iganmu failed to deal with a free-kick set into their 18-yard area. The striker was the fastest to respond as the ball dropped to his feet, slotting home from close range.
Despite all that they tried in the second half, both sides failed to score as Gbagada climbed to seventh on the log, leaving Iganmu in ninth spot.

MAN OF THE MATCH
Kareem Hassan (Gbagada)
His powerful header may have opened the scoring. But the same header was also handy in thwarting every threat that the Tigers posed in the clash.
