Dino Edge Dannaz In Tight Affair

Dino SC edged the matchweek 17 battle with Dannaz 1-0 in the Creative Championship League on Sunday.

It was the week’s opening game and quite a cagey affair between the two teams at the Dipo Dina Internationa Stadium in Ijebu Ode. 

Dino have blown hot and cold this season and were comprehensively beaten in their TCC Cup quarterfinal game against Gbagada during the week. This was a game they needed to win in order to improve their position on the log.

Dannaz, on the other hand, have been impressive this season, taking results from Gbagada, Beyond Limits and co. So, this was another opportunity to clinch an important point on the road in the race for third.

While chances were aplenty, it was Godwin Gibson’s Dino that triumphed at the end of the day courtesy of Timilehin Adekunle’s finish after the hour mark.

Dino’s position did not change but the Cedars dropped outside the top three ahead of the final matchweek.
