Dannaz Held to a Draw by Resurgent BroadCity

BroadCity needed two second half goals to force Dannaz to a draw and maintain their current unbeaten run.

After defeating Atlantic Business and Iganmu Tiger, the visitors came into the game seeking a third win in a row. They were however given a rude wake up call when Paul Aderibigbe opened the scoring for the hosts in the 16th minute.

The early goal evidently upset BroadCity who had managed to keep clean sheets in their last two games before this encounter. Try as they may, they couldn’t pull one back and had to settle for a first half defeat.

Coach Fatai’s side started the second half of the brighter team and got rewarded for their hard work in the 51st minute. Second half substitute, Onoja Matthew got in on the action by getting Dannaz’s second goal of the game in the 51st minute.

Not wanting the game to slip away from them, BroadCity charged at the Dannaz goal right after kick-off, seeking a goal. Ezugwu Uche would be on hand to send one past Toheeb Abdulazeeez.

The tussle for the game’s fourth goal continued till the 78th minute when Oyene Ifeanyi pulled the visitors level.

BroadCity fought hard to protect their draw as they thwarted the onslaught of the hosts. Dannaz had to settle for a draw that sees them drop to fourth on the log.
