Atlantic recorded their fourth win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Dannaz.
Separated by six points, each chasing a win in this game, for various reasons, both league newcomers took their time to warm up to each other in the game.
After a number of spurned chances, it was Dannaz who took the lead as Chinonso Ihite was on hand to give his side the early lead. Having been in this situation a number of times this season, the home side refused to panic as they continued to be as compact as possible while searching for the goal that would draw them level.
The second half began with the home side on the front foot as Atlantic Business took the business to their opponents. Seven minutes after play resumed, they drew level after a fine exchange of passes.
There’d be more spurned chances as the game progressed, with both teams guilty of not taking the initiative.
Not wanting to settle for a point, Marcus Elijah took it upon himself to find the goal that would make all the difference between both sides, putting his side ahead and gifting them the full three points in the game.
Atlantic Business, with this win, now sit just three points behind fellow TCC newcomers, Dannaz
