Late Drama In Ikenne

Bottom side Emmydinho and Atlantic Business played out a 1-1 draw in the matchweek 15 fixture at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

Emmydinho came into this game on the back of a huge defeat at the hands of Valiant, a similar form Atlantic brought into this encounter.

It was a cagey game for large periods as both sides kept making life difficult for each other to find expression. Despite conceding a large volume of goals in their previous games, Emmydinho were resolute this time.

Same result continued in the second half until the final minutes of the game. Emmydinho went in front through Hannafi Babatunde in the 86th minute as they hope to record a rare win. Sadly, Onifade Babatunde decided to oppose that, popping up at the other end to equalise for Coach Adiro Olayjnka’s men at the death.

The game finished in a draw and didn’t do much to the side’s positions on the log.
