Dino’s Search for a First League Win of the Year Continues with Loss to Atlantic Business

Dino ended up on the losing side of a five-goal thriller as they dropped points to Atlantic Business.

Coach Godwin Gibson knew what was at stake and seemed to have charged his side to go for the win. His side opened the scoring in the 10th minute of the game and were in control for the most part of the first half.

Not happy with his lad’s 1st half outing, Coach Adiro Olayinka rang a few changes at the beginning of the second half as they sought to salvage what was left of the game. His move would prove to be a game-changer as they dominated the second half.

One of the second half substitutes, Chinonso Onyegbulam, put two past Nathan in the space of seven minutes. His goals, which came in the 70th and 77th minute of the game, turned the tide around and handed Atlantic Business the lead for the first time in the game.

Not done with the scoring, Emmanuel Victor added a third to compound Dino’s terrible league restart. Although Emmanuel Ajibola got one back for the hosts, it wasn’t enough to save Coach Gibson’s side from yet another league defeat in 2023.

Abiodun Mustapha (Atlantic Business)

He may not have gotten on the scorer’s sheet. However, Abiodun Mustapha was instrumental in making the most of his team’s attacking foray down the left flank. Despite being a second half substitute, he made the most of his time and impacted the game positively.
