Champions Beyond Limits continued their impressive run in the TCC with a comfortable 3-1 win
at Atlantic Business on Wednesday morning.
The Ikenne side, who had gone ten TCC league games without a defeat, found joy at the Dipo
Dina Stadium as they cruised past their hosts who had no answers to their attacking display.
Just like the first leg ended goalless, it was quite cagey early on as the hosts were resolute at
the back and didn’t afford the visitors the time and space to play their game.
However, with few minutes left to be played in the first half, Onyebuchi Obasi was brought down
in the area and top scorer Morufdeen Moshood stepped up to convert.
After the break, it remained same way, with the league leaders still finding it difficult to find
expression. Atlantic also created chances of their own but important blocks from the men in
blue denied them the equalizer.
Olumide Ajibolade’s boys upped the ante and got two further goals through substitutes Ahmed
Lanre and Kparobo Arierhi
Late on, Atlantic pulled one back through Abiodun Mustapha in the dying embers of the game but this was after goalkeeper
Olisa Okechukwu had pulled off some outrageous saves to deny them.
Consequently, Beyond Limits edged closer to the title as they increased their lead at the top to
six points, while Atlantic remain mid-table.

MAN OF THE MATCH
Ayomide Ogungbe (Beyond Limits)
The midfielder was at his usual best. In a game they generally found it difficult to impose themselves, he was excellent.
