Valiant, Atlantic Business share the spoils

Valiant and Atlantic Business were inseparable in this Matchweek 13 encounter in the TCC League.

Eighth and sixth on the log going into this one, both sides needed wins for different reasons. And both teams would start the game like a house on fire, with each side searching for an early goal. This led to a frenzied first half, filled with goal-scoring opportunities aplenty. However, both sides failed to take their chances as the half wore on.

With just four minutes of normal time to go in the half, Sulaimon Onafowokan stepped up to the plate and put his side ahead with a cool finish, helping his side to finish the half as winners.

The second half was not much different from the first. Valiant’s search for an equaliser was equally matched with Atlantic’s search for a second. The Valiant Boys would win this race as Olaniyan Gafar was on hand to pull his side level. His goal would be enough to help his side avoid yet another defeat as they continue their upward climb in the league.
