Imperial bounce back to winning ways

Imperial returned to winning ways with a win against Dannaz in the TCC League.

Eager to put the loss to Beyond Limits behind them, the young team got off to a fantastic start, with Kptonsi Paterne finding the opening goal in the 13th minute of play.

After the goal, Dannaz were left to deal with a side in search of a second goal while also trying to level up in the game. They would however succeed with the latter as Savio Idezi converted from the spot in the 34th minute after his side was awarded a penalty.

In the second half, both sides mostly cancelled each other for the first 20 minutes as the play was even. Imperial would however go ahead in the 66th minute as Abdullahi Bilyaminu sent the goalkeeper the wrong way from the spot to put Imperial ahead.

The remainder of the game saw Imperial handle the pressure from Dannaz well as they earned yet another set of three points, putting pressure on the sides ahead of them.
