Beyond Limits were at their imperial best on Saturday evening as they defeated Iganmu 3-0 at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
Coach Ajibolade Olumide and his boys have won their past four games in ruthless fashion and were outright favourites to make it five against draw specialists – Iganmu FC.
The champions missed several chances in the opening half as the visitors held their firm. There was no breakthrough after the first 45minutes as scores remained blank.
After the break, the pep talk seem to have worked the magic as the hosts scored two quick goals in four second half minutes. Man-in-form Oluwashola Ogundana scored the opener in the 50th minute before skipper Onyebuchi Obasi made it 2-0 just four minutes later.
The home side continued to dominate the game and were looking to wrap up the win, which eventually came in the dying embers of the game as Muyideen Olude scored to wrap up another emphatic win for the junior sky blue stars.
With the result, Beyond Limits extend their lead at the top to six points, while the Lions remain seventh on the log.
