Dino hold off Valiant comeback for yet another win

Dino recorded yet another win on their journey to the top, this time over Valiant.

Both sides, coming from Matchweek 11 losses, were looking to bounce back and start a possible momentum.

Seeking to cancel a long run without wins, Valiant got the first goal in the 17th minute through Yusuf Zakarriya who put one past goalkeeper Gideon Ede. That was the only goal in the first half as both sides tried to add to the goals tally without any success.

The floodgates holding back the goals opened widely in the second half as both sides went at each other.  Dino pulled on back in the 57th minute, as Timothy Edet pulled his side back level. One became two for the Landlords of the Lions Den  as Samuel Asogbon put his side ahead in the 71st minute. Capitulating under this new-found pressure, Valiant conceded a third goal as Blessing scored Dino’s third.

Valiant put up a last-minute fight and got one back via the boots of Saoban Tanimola. However, it was too late for a comeback as they slipped to yet another defeat in the TCC League.
