Another loss for Valiant as Gbagada soars

Valiant succumbed to yet another defeat this season, this time at the hands of Gbagada

While both sides had different goals, the objective was the same: win the three points.

Valiant started the game the brighter of the two sides, even though there weren’t a lot of goalscoring chances in the first 10 minutes. The game would come alive in the 15th minute when Olotu was called upon to save a direct freekick.

At the other end, Joshua Blessing could not convert from a Balogun loop into the 18-yard area. Valiant finished the half like they started it: the better of both sides.

But they would go behind in the 56th minute, as Ademola Akibu continued his hot goal-scoring streak by putting Gbagada ahead. Just a minute later, Valiant found the breakthrough as Sanusi was on hand to score.

Gbagada would win the race to find the winner as Hameed Oyeniyi was on hand to give the home team yet another TCC League win.
