Atlantic Business Return To Winning Ways at Valiant

Atlantic Business edged Valiant 1-0 in the Creative Championship League match week ten match played on Friday.

In the reverse fixture, Valiant won 2-1 to make it two wins in a row and were hoping to complete the double over the God’s Own Team. On the other hand, ATL were out to return to winning ways, having failed in multiple attempts over the past few weeks.

It was quite open in the opening exchanges between the two sides at the Legacy Pitch. It was a cagey contest at first, as either side held their own in the opening half of the game.

After the halftime break, the Brave boys upped the ante and were unlucky to go in front as goalkeeper Omah Ebube denied them. However, it was Adiro Olayinka’s side that went ahead to take the lead through Gbolahan Onabanjo’s strike in the 72nd minute.

The visitors did well in the final quarter of the game to see out the game and claim a first win since November.
