Although, Broad City were enjoying a large share of the ball possession, but they were wasteful in front of goal and trailed at the break.
A series of changes were effected by both sides, expectedly, the City’s Pride made changes upfront while the Iganmu lions added fresh legs for more solidity in crucial areas.
In the 69th minute, Omale Isaiah headed home from inside the area to drag his side level. And with two minutes left to play, Agbalaka Solomon smashed home from inside the area to hand his side the lead for the first time in the game.
Solomon’s goal proved to be the winner, as the newbies held on for their first maximum points in the Cup this season.
