TCC League debutants Dannaz FC went to Ijebu Ode to play Dino SC in one of matchweek one’s interesting fixtures with the game ending in a 1-0 win for the Lagosians.

After the TCC Cup competition that kicked off last year, both sides were looking for the best possible start to the league when they took to the pitch on Sunday morning.

It was quite a competitive and keenly contested game between both sides. Dino, the more experienced side in the competition, were behind early on as Precious Emmanuel handed the visitors the lead in the sixth minute.

A lot of probing came from the Lion Boys but it never materialised into a goal as the Cedars kept their composure at the back to thwart their attacks.

Changes were made by both coaches in the second half in search of a new dimension to the game, but that never happened as Dannaz held on for a winning start on their league debut.

It was an excellent outing for the lad. He showed why he’s class above the rest in a game that needed such a performance. Quite dominant.
