The wait for a first win of the season is now over for Dannaz as they recorded a resounding 5-1 win over Iganmu.
Dannaz made their intentions known early in the game, getting their first in the 20th minute through Joshua Obakimi. The striker would get a double two minutes after as Dannaz reminded everyone which side was the hungrier one.
In all of this, Iganmu had no answers. They would go on to concede three more goals before they scored their first:
- Joshua Obakimi completed his hat-trick and added an extra goal, showing his prowess up front
- Oluwadamilare also got on the score sheet, his goal starting off the second half massacre of the Tiger
By the time Bamidele Adeleke scored Iganmu’s first, it was not only too late, they had shipped in three second-half goals in the space of 20 minutes. And while Dannaz celebrate their first win of the season, Iganmu are now the only side left in the league without one.
How long can the Tigers of Iganmu go on for without a win?
MAN OF THE MATCH
Joshua Obakimi (Dannaz)
Joshua, like the character he’s named after, put on a fearless performance, brushing off opposition to bag four and push his team even further away from the bottom of the log.
