Valiant Register First Win of the Season with win over Escola

Valiant defeated Escola to register their first win of the season.

The tightly-contested game started with both sides energetically fighting for ball possession and creating chances. The goalkeepers were however on hand to ensure the game stayed goalless.

The hosts, without a win until this game, strived hard to get something out of the clash. They were however met with a resolute Escola, also needing points themselves. The visitors would however succumb to the pressure as Abdullahi Abubakar fired home to put Coach Owolabi’s side in the lead.

The newcomers strived to get an equalizer but were unsuccessful in their quest as the host finally picked up their first league win this season, after seven attempts.
