Real Sapphire 1 - 2 Atlantic Business
Atlantic Business rub dirt on Real Sapphire; halt their unbeaten run
Real Sapphire suffered their first loss of the season as they were outplayed by Atlantic Business.
The visitors kicked things off in style, scoring in the third minute. Chinonso Onyegbulam raced, through the defense, onto a lobbed pass. First to get to the ball, he chipped Sunday Ali in goal to put the hosts under pressure.
The hosts were still trying to find their feet when Atlantic Business got a second. Chinonso Onyegbulam, was again in the right place at the right time, to take advantage of chaotic Real Sapphire defense. This time, one-on-one with the goalkeeper, he had no problems slotting home from close range.
It was the first time Coach Onolapo’ side had gone two goals down this season. And unusual of them, they posed no threat going forward. For the most part of the half, Coach Charles’ lads dominated the game and looked the most likely to score the third.
They improved in the second half and got out of their half more often. However, it was still the visitors that looked more likely to score as they kept creating chances. They however failed to kill off the game and Real Sapphire failed to make them pay for it.
Although they conceded a late goal, it didn’t stop Atlantic Business from getting maximum points away from against the newcomers.
MAN OF THE MATCH

His runs kept the defense busy throughout. He made his presence felt and could have even gotten a hattrick.
