Iganmu Pushed Beyond Limit as Search for First Win Continues

Beyond Limits continued their fine scoring form as they put two past Iganmu to make it three wins in as many games.

Having scored 10 goals in their last three games, and up against an Iganmu side searching for its first win, this was largely expected to be a stroll in the park for the hosts. But the visitors had other ideas.

In the 13th minute of the game, they opened the scoring. The captain’s free-kick floated dangerously into the area and was deflected into the goal.

Stunned but not shaken, the hosts began searching for ways back into the game. A sturdy Iganmu defense – an unlikely sight – was however up to the task the entire half, to ensure Iganmu to their lead into the break.

Coach Olumide’s men were however relentless, and started the second half the same way.

They would get reward for their efforts 11 minutes into the half. Obasi Onyebuchi was on hand to take a corner-kick. Instead of targeting one of his teammates’ heads, he chose to go for goal. The ball evaded everyone and found the top corner of the net.

Energized by the equalizer, the hosts pressed for a second. At this stage, they were up against a shaky Iganmu side that was on the edge. Beyond Limits would take the lead in the 73rd minute through Kparabo. The striker, who’s in fine form, was on hand to calmly slot the ball home from a rebound.

The reigning champions would go on to win the game as the heap more pressure on a hapless Iganmu
