Hard Work, Hard Win for Beyond Limits as Champions Make it Three In A Row

Reigning champions, Beyond Limits, came out on top in a five-goal thriller against VOE FA.

Cheered on by their fans, Coach Olumide’s side broke the deadlock in the ninth minute, as Peter Adejimi found the back of the net in style. One became two in the 37th minute as Ogunniyi Oluwaseun found space in a crowded box to pull off a bicycle kick and extend the hosts’ lead.

Not willing to let their opponents out of their sights, VOE pulled one back just before halftime. A melee in the 18-yard area forced the ball just outside the box. Danlami Emmanuel was on hand to power a half volley past Aiyenugba Daniel into the top left hand corner of the net.

The goal-scoring party continued in the second half, with Beyond Limits getting their third in the 75th minute. Ogunniyi was on hand to fire home from close range to the delight of the home fans.

And although VOE pulled one back 10 minutes from time, those three goals were enough to help Beyond Limits secure their third win in a row, maintaining their 100% start to the season.
