Dannaz and Sporting Lagos Play out Six-Goal Thriller

Dannaz and Sporting Lagos settled for a draw as both sides scored three apiece in the final game of the season.

It was however Dannaz who got the game’s first goal – an unfortunate own goal scored by Fortunate put the hosts in front. Sporting Lagos needed to wait until the second half to get their own goal.

Substitute Edward Ochugeo drew his side level in the 47 minute before putting them in front in the 71st minute. Sporting Lagos seemed destined for a win when another substitute, Akanji Oluwaseun, scored their third in the 73rd minute.

But Dannaz had other plans.

Not willing to throw in the towel, Obakimi Joshua got a goal in the 81st minute, halving the deficit. Memud Hammed drew the hosts level two minutes after as he found a way past the Sporting Lagos defense.
