Dino in Seventh Heaven as they Trounce Dannaz

Dino put seven past Dannaz in their penultimate game of the season.

It however wasn’t a smooth-sailing start for the hosts as they had to soak up early pressure from the visitors. 15 minutes after the start of the game, the hosts kicked off their goal fest, with Hyacinth Okoro getting the first with a low shot.

Coach Gibson’s boys needed to wait till the second half to get the rest of their goals. It was Hyacinth whose goal started things off before Diji Chidubem’s header made it three. Samuel Umor then made up for earlier missed chances by scoring the fourth before Dannaz pulled one back.

Dino would have the final say as Hyacinth added two more – one from the spot – before Idris Iliyasu scored Dino’s seventh. It’s the third time the hosts have scored seven or more goals in a TCC League game this season – a feat no other team has achieved.
