Atlantic Business Swamps Sporting Lagos in Emphatic Victory

Atlantic Business made light work of Sporting Lagos, as they recorded a 4-0 victory on the road.

The goal fest however started as a cagey affair, with both sides containing the other in the first half. Sporting Lagos hit the woodwork on the half-hour mark but that was the closest the hosts came.

The hosts broke the deadlock in the 51st minute, as Sylvanus was on hand to tap home after Gaffar Ahmed had parried the ball. Four minutes later, Atlantic Business caught a sleepy Sporting Lagos defense off guard to extend their lead. Gbolahan Onabanjo found space behind the defense and the goalie, tapping the ball into an empty net.

Sylvanus grabbed his second of the afternoon in the 59th minute, as the visitors swept Sporting Lagos away in a 10-minute blitz. Onikoyi Moyosore got Atlantic’s fourth seven minutes from time, as Coach Japhet’s men earned another emphatic victory away from home.
