Broad City continued their climb to the top with an impressive 4-2 win over Imperial.
It was however everything but smooth-sailing for the visitors as they conceded the first two goals of the game. Aremo David’s 10th minute opener and Ashuku Joel’s 69th minute goal had put Imperial in control of the game, destined for a win.
But Broad City had other ideas. In the 70th minute, Michael Famoyegun was brought down in the box, earning the visitors a penalty. Christopher Jeremiah stepped up and converted. His goal would be the first of a 20-minute-haul that saw the visitors blitz past Imperial.
In the 81st minute, Chidubem drew his side level after tapping from close range. Four minutes later, Christopher was on target again, before substitute Fidelix scored Broad City’s fourth in the 90th minute.
A remarkable win for Coach Oluwaseun’s side which sees them climb into fourth on the log.
