Late Goal Seals Win for Dino

A late goal was just enough to help Dino secure a win over Iganmu.

The visitors, with one win in their last four, started out the hungrier side as they pressed for an early goal. 23 minutes after kick-off, their hard work paid off as Samuel Obudu broke the deadlock from the penalty spot.

But they were quickly pulled back as Kola Mohammed drew Iganmu level in the 32nd minute.

The game seemed destined for a draw until Joseph Ubong’s acrobatic goal in the 82nd minute. Iganmu failed to clear their lines after a Dino corner-kick. The second-half substitute took advantage of a shaky defense, putting the ball in-between the goalie’s hands with an overhead kick.

That goal was enough to secure a win for Dino as Coach Bartholomew’s side bounced back to winning ways.
