Broad City registered their first win of the season in style as they trounced Iganmu 4-0
Coach Ogunmoyero’s lads, despite playing away from home, stamped their authority early on in the game. And it’s no surprise that their first goal came in the 20th minute as Sani Mohammed broke the deadlock.
Broad City doubled their lead in the 36th minute as an unmarked Sanusi Hanif tucked the ball home from close range. For a second league game running, Iganmu had no answers for their opponents.
Coach Alade’s men would go on to ship another two in the second half as their hard start to the season continued. It’s deja vu all over for the Tiger as they experienced a similar start to the season this time last year.
And while Sanusi celebrated scoring in successive games for Broad City, Iganmu’s wait for a first goal (and win) of the season continues.
MAN OF THE MATCH
Sanusi Hanif (Broad City)
The youngster was, time and again, in the right place at the right time, getting chances and putting them to bed with ease.
