Valiant Fightback Earns Brave Boys a Point on the Road

Broad City and Valiant scored two goals apiece as both sides shared the spoils on MatchDay 2.

The hosts, led by Kazeem Adeyemi, were forced into defensive mode early into the game, as their visitors asked questions early in the game. They successfully held the forte until they caved under pressure in the 31st minute. Abuchi Okoro defied gravity with his leap to nod the ball home from a corner kick. 

Five minutes from half-time, Broad City pulled level. Uche Ezugwu was on hand to make the most of an attacking play, catching Valiant off-guard to even matters. Two minutes later, one became two, as Chidubem Ohaegbulem was on hand to put his side in front.

Broad City came into the 2nd half with a plan to defend their lead and see out the win. However, Valiant, not willing to suffer a second consecutive defeat, struck late to steal a point. Ayomide Akinsola curled his free-kick over the wall and into the net for the equalizer, earning the Brave Boys a point.
