Imperial won the battle for second place as they defeated Dino 5-2
The fixture, notorious for producing a lot of goals, didn’t disappoint, with the first of the day coming in the 13th minute. It was Dino who broke the deadlock as Amos Mata put the visitors in front. He doubled his side’s lead just before the half-hour mark, putting pressure on the hosts.
Imperial would pull one back just before the break, before going on a scoring spree in the second half.
While Joel Ashuku opened Imperial’s account, Chidera drew his side level on the hour mark, before David Aremu fired Imperial in front in the 61st minute. It was all Imperial from here as they dominated the visitors, increasing their lead in the latter stages of the game.
Samuel Abisuga and Joel Ashuku rounded off the scoring as Imperial recorded an emphatic win.
